The durable, folding design is highly simple to load your bike onto. As soon as you mount it, you will notice the first benefit right away. The 1UP bike trainer sits unusually low to the ground and it does not require a donut ring for the front wheel. This feature makes the bike easier to mount. It is also infinitely more stable when you are astride the bike and pounding away. Once you begin to peddle, you will quickly realize that the 1UP works simply, but it works well. The quiet design features an excellent road-like feel that provides much resistance that will translate into an excellent workout.
This 1UP bike trainer employs a centrifugal flywheel that provides silky smooth operation. However, it does limit your training to your ability. Unlike the competition, such as fluid or mag trainers, it's virtually impossible to overpower this trainer or drive it up to unrealizable and unrepeatable speeds. The 1UP bike trainer can handle ranges from 4 to 3400 watts, which will cover anyone from you to a champion like Lance Armstrong.
I expected worse and was a bit critical when trying out the 1UP bike trainer. The model has a number of reviews around the web and most of them rave about this trainer. At first, I just didn't see it. It was so uninspired and plain looking that I didn't think it could possibly be a good performer. After using it for several days, I have to say I was wrong. It's a wonderful model at a reasonable price that would serve anyone well for a quite a long time.
